“A bed without a quilt is like a sky without stars.”
New Year is such a great time of year. The hubbub of Christmas is over, things are back to normal and I got some remodeling done. For months I’ve been tripping over boxes of whatnots and finally had enough. While the store was closed, I went through boxes and boxes of stuff. It amazes me how much one person collects over the years. After 2 bonfires and 2 trips to Goodwill, I now have room to breathe.
Believe me, I am not done. This was just the beginning. I’ve moved to other rooms, especially my sewing room and craft areas.
The New Year also brings new beginnings. Time to learn new techniques or refine the old. Time for new fabrics and classes. Time to meet new friends and share with old. I look forward to seeing everyone. Please bring in pictures and projects. I want to see all you are working on.
Classes return in February. We are trying something new. Some classes will be during the day and on days the shop is normally closed. We can all thank Bonnie and Sallie for this. They are both wonderful sewers and teachers. Enjoy your time with them – I know I always do! That said, if you are like me and can’t be here during the day, let us know. We will arrange a time to teach everyone.
